ALUPONT 1600
Public Shore to Pontoon Gangway
The Alupont 1600 is a marine grade aluminium truss style gangway incorporating a walking surface of 1600mm span between handrails. The Alupont is designed in accordance with BSMA78:1978, the YHA Code of Practice 2013 and can accommodate 4.0kN/m2 UDL. The Alupont is classified as a public access gangway and can be further customised to the clients specific requirements and then independently verified by our external Consulting Engineers. All welding is undertaken by coded welders and the final surface finish can be left in its mill state or powder coated to the client’s requirements. Further customisation of the Alupont is possible with the incorporation of utility ducts, led lighting and various other deck surfaces. A comprehensive ISO9001 quality dossier is compiled and issued along with every Alupont.
